KCL Law is pleased to announce the appointments of Paul Beasant and Jacinta Lane as Special Counsel, and Geoff Kliger as Senior Special Counsel, effective 1 July 2017.
Paul Beasant, Special Counsel
Paul joined the firm in late 2015 and is an invaluable member of our Estate Group. Paul practises principally in wills and estates, guardianship and administration, trusts and asset protection. He also represents clients in litigated matters involving contested wills, estate disputes, trust disputes and breaches of fiduciary duties.
Jacinta Lane, Special Counsel
A key member of our Employment and Workplace Relations practice, Jacinta has over 13 years' experience in all aspects of workplace and employment law — including industrial relations, executive terminations, anti-discrimination law and corporate restructures — and in both public and private practice.
Geoff Kliger, Senior Special Counsel
A valued and long-standing member of the firm, Geoff is a highly respected lawyer with over 35 years’ experience in property and commercial law. Having seen the property industry from all sides, Geoff draws upon his wealth of experience and knowledge to provide his clients with astute commercial advice.
Geoff is an Accredited Property Law Specialist, and Mentor for the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) and The University of Melbourne's Melbourne Law School. He was also a former member of the LIV Property Law Advisory Committee and is founding partner of KCL Law (formerly Kliger Partners).
