While Arnie’s practice primarily focuses on general commercial, corporations and insolvency litigation, he also has experience in building and construction litigation, financial services litigation, real property litigation, defamation and international commercial arbitration.
Having worked in the corporate sector prior to becoming a lawyer, Arnie understands the commercial realities of litigation and works with clients to provide solutions that derive the most value to them. Arnie has worked for a wide variety of clients including individuals, SME’s, publicly listed companies, accountants and insolvency practitioners.
Arnie’s involvement in matters is end-to-end, which includes initial meetings and advice, drawing or responding to demand letters, drawing court documents and doing appearance work. He also regularly appears in the Federal Court, Federal Circuit Court, Supreme Court of Victoria, County Court of Victoria, Magistrates Court of Victoria, Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal and Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
Arnie joined KCL Law as a paralegal in October 2013 and was admitted to practice in December 2013. He was appointed as an Associate in April 2017, and a Senior Associate in July 2020.
Arnie holds a Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Melbourne and a Juris Doctor from Monash University, and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
