Joel is a Senior Associate in KCL Law’s Estate Group and practices principally in estate planning, trusts and superannuation. Joel’s prior experience includes tax consulting and compliance, estate administration, estate disputes and administration orders, which have all helped to shape his proactive succession planning advice.
Having experience in tax law and tax accounting enables Joel to identify potential commercial risks and provide his clients with solutions to ensure that their estate and succession plans are tax-effective and well protected.
Joel completed a Master of Laws (Applied Law) with The College of Law, majoring in Wills and Estates, to further his knowledge and enhance his skills in this area of practice. A resourceful lawyer, Joel stays on top of relevant changes to legislation and guidelines on Wills and Estate so that he can provide his clients with up to date, accurate and reliable advice.
As a husband and parent, Joel enjoys working with families to help them plan for the future or resolve conflicts with a sensitive, clear and practical approach.
Joel is a Graduate Fellow of The College of Law Ltd, in recognition of his academic achievement at Masters Degree level, and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
